I got this tall eye guarded buck in the rut. His doe busted me but couldn't figure out what I was. She stared me down for a good 5 minutes while I didn't move a muscle and avoided making eye contact. When she finally retreated her boyfriend couldn't help but come out of the brush to try and follow her. Bad mistake!
